As a Child and Adolescent Therapist, Charlene Chong specializes in using play therapy and mindfulness to address anxiety and depression in young people. With experience in supporting children with autism, Charlene also embraces neurodiversity. She recognises that neurodivergent individuals have unique ways of interacting with the environment, and is affirming of their strengths and encourages accommodations for their needs. Charlene believes in the importance of connection, appreciation and curiosity in the interaction with children. Therefore, her therapy work has an emphasis on affirming their being and motivating them to explore and play to regulate their emotions.
